For a vital and refreshed appearance.

The eyes reveal a lot about our well-being. They can also convey a tired or unhealthy appearance due to excess skin or fat accumulation, which often does not reflect reality.

Indication

Drooping eyelids or excess skin in the upper eyelid area.
Under-eye bags or wrinkles on the lower eyelid.

Surgery

Eyelid surgery is one of the most common procedures in aesthetic plastic surgery.
Although it is a relatively straightforward and short surgical procedure, it also requires extensive surgical experience to achieve beautiful and natural results.
On the upper eyelid, the exact extent of excess skin is marked, this strip of skin is removed, and the scar is placed within the natural eyelid crease, making it almost invisible later on.
The lower eyelid lift can be corrected through an incision along the eyelash line or from inside the lower eyelid. Typically, fat tissue accumulations need to be removed (also known as under-eye bags). Special instruments used can be viewed here.

Anesthesia

The surgery is not painful and is performed in most cases under local anesthesia using a tiny Botox needle. For very anxious patients, the procedure can also be performed under twilight sedation or general anesthesia.

Hospital stay

The procedure can be performed on an outpatient basis; however, the patient should not drive themselves afterward.

After the procedure

Local cooling with ice packs and keeping the head elevated to avoid swelling and bruising. Suture removal after 5-7 days.
